Effective Date: February 17, 2026
OMNIII is built by Don Allen Stevenson III. This policy describes what data the app collects, how it's used, and your controls over it.
The short version: OMNIII stores everything locally on your device. There are no user accounts, no analytics tracking, and no cloud sync. Your voice memos and transcriptions belong to you.
OMNIII collects the minimum data necessary to function. Here's exactly what and why:
| Data Type | Purpose | Linked to You | Tracking |
|---|---|---|---|
| Audio Data Voice recordings |
On-device transcription via WhisperKit. Audio is processed locally and stored only on your device. | No | No |
| User Content Transcripts & prompts |
Transcribed text may be sent to third-party AI services (OpenRouter, OpenAI, ElevenLabs) when you request AI responses or text-to-speech. Local LLM mode keeps everything on-device. | No | No |
| Device ID Conservative disclosure |
OMNIII does not collect device identifiers. This is disclosed conservatively because third-party API providers may log IP addresses or device metadata on their end. | No | No |
The following data types are never collected by OMNIII:
All app data is stored locally on your device using:
SQLite database (via GRDB) for memos, transcripts, and AI responses. UserDefaults for app preferences. Keychain for API keys. Audio files stored in the app's sandboxed directory.
No data is synced to any cloud service. No backup server exists. If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed.
When you use cloud-based AI features, OMNIII sends your transcript text to these services:
OpenRouter — Routes queries to AI models (Claude, GPT-4, Gemini, etc.). See OpenRouter's Privacy Policy.
OpenAI — Text-to-speech generation. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
ElevenLabs — Text-to-speech generation. See ElevenLabs' Privacy Policy.
Hugging Face — Local LLM model downloads only. No user data is sent. See Hugging Face's Privacy Policy.
Offline Mode: When using local LLMs and on-device transcription, OMNIII operates entirely offline. No data leaves your device.
OMNIII contains no analytics SDKs. No Firebase, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude, no PostHog, no tracking pixels. We do not track your usage, behavior, or interactions in any way.
OMNIII does not require or offer user accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, and no authentication system. You provide your own API keys for cloud AI services, which are stored securely in your device's Keychain.
Delete any memo — Swipe to delete individual memos, transcripts, and associated AI responses at any time.
Delete all data — Uninstall OMNIII to permanently remove all stored data from your device.
Revoke microphone access — Go to Settings → OMNIII → Microphone to disable voice recording.
Use offline only — Run local LLMs without entering any API keys to keep everything on-device.
OMNIII is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of OMNIII after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
